The chart-topping rapper says she “can’t talk about certain things . . . because I’ll go to jail.”
Cardi B has been all over our feeds lately. From responding to Offset cheating rumours to making the internet explode with Bruno Mars, we can’t seem to get enough.
And she’s back at it with her comments made on Beats 1, with host Julie Adenuga, according to BET.
When it came to the topic of social media and how the rapper copes with its downside as well as the not-so-constructive criticism, Cardi B didn’t hold back.
“A lot of these celebrities do search their names on Twitter. A lot of them do see their comments. All of them. They really do,” she said.
She then went on to reveal why she wasn’t too cool (unlike other celebs) to put fans in their places, “I feel like, they don't respond because it's like the celebrity thing to do.
“It's like you're too cool. I'm not too cool to tell y'all m*****f*****g a** something. How y'all square a** gone tell me sh*t about me?”
Cardi B, whose real name is Belcalis Almanzar, also told Julie that if she shares too much, she could go to jail.
According to Independent.IE, she has to refrain from sharing certain details on her debut album to avoid ending up in prison. Telling the Beats 1 host, “I can’t talk about certain things on the album, because I’d go to jail.”
Capital Xtra reports that Cardi B will drop her highly anticipated debut album this month.
