Rushing to OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg to catch a flight to Cape Town, sitting on a plane for two hours, then hiring a car for the two-hour drive to Heidelberg in the Western Cape.

Visiting family in the small town near the Garden Route used to be quite a rigmarole – but these days things are much easier for Theodore Jantjies.

The actor, who grew up in Heidelberg, has returned to Cape Town after working in Joburg for 20 years to be closer to his loved ones.
