Yikes! Kanye West’s recent invite for his show at Paris Fashion Week has people shaken up.
The rapper invited guests to the show by sending each a dozen rattlesnake eggs and a bundle of sage. Alyssa Vingan Klein, the editorial director for Nylon magazine, tweeted a snap of the invitation.
On the envelope, which had an image of a snake on it, was written, "Caution: Keep in cool place to prevent hatching."
There was an outcry, with many demanding to know how he could use snakes eggs after his recent promise to be more sustainable and eco-friendly.
"Kanye really sending out rattlesnake eggs as part of the YZY SZN 8 invites?? loll this dude is something," wrote one, while another worried user tweeted, "WHAT ARE PEOPLE DOING WITH THESE EGGS?"
As it turned out, the joke was on them: the eggs were fake.
"Fashion people literally the dumbest on earth," one person tweeted. "Yeezy invite came with 'rattlesnake eggs' and people on the feed freaking out about them... like have any of you ever been to a gift shop or have a brain cell left... they are not real."
Another wrote, "Kanye definitely spending a lot of his time in the Southwest. Sage sticks and rattlesnake eggs are stuff you can buy at every truck stop there."
Meanwhile, at the show for the Yeezy Autumn/Winter 2020 collection, Kanye and wife Kim’s six-year-old daughter, North, made her stage debut with a rap performance as models strutted the runway.
