Once upon a time they danced their way into each other’s hearts, but now Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan are battling it out in court over a financial settlement in their divorce case.
The actors filed for divorce in 2018 after almost nine years of marriage, stating that their marriage was just not working anymore.

It’s been six years since they announced their split, but they still can’t find common ground when it comes to a financial settlement, which includes the money that Channing (43) earned from the Magic Mike franchise.
“Channing and Jenna both knew it would take a while for them to settle their divorce but neither of them thought it would be this long,” a source told US Weekly.
The Rookie actress (43) claimed that Channing was delaying the process, allegedly because he's refusing "to accept an equal division of the Magic Mike intellectual property".
"Jenna is just looking for a fair resolution of community assets of the marriage," a representative for the actress told People Magazine.
“Jenna will fight for what she's entitled to – a fair settlement by California State Law. Channing doesn’t think Jenna’s claims are fair,” the representative explains.
The former couple both listed each other on a preliminary witness list for the trial which will address matters such as the division of property, reimbursement claims, breach of fiduciary duty and attorney fees.
But the biggest issue is how the couple will divide profits from Channing’s Magic Mike movie trilogy.
According to court documents, Jenna argued that the trilogy was "developed and co-financed by Channing during marriage with community effort and marital funds".
She also alleges that her ex did not share the Magic Mike business opportunities with her and "collected one hundred percent of the profits" after their separation, and without her knowledge.
Channing on the other hand argues that Jenna has no right to make any claims on his Magic Mike earnings as the pair were already separated when the benefits came through.
The years-long legal battle has caused strain in the exes’ co-parenting relationship. They have a 10-year-old daughter, Everly Tatum.

The two put on a good front for Everly, “but it’s messy behind closed doors,” an insider says.
Jenna is pregnant with her second child with singer and actor Steve Kazee (48). She gave birth to their first child, Callum (now 4), in 2020.
Jenna and Steve started dating in 2018, six months after she and Channing announced that they were ending their marriage.
Channing is engaged to actress Zoë Kravitz (35).
"Jenna wants to reach a final determination and close this chapter on her life as soon as possible," the actress' representative said, adding that Jenna wants everything “settled before she gets married again.”
