Binge-watch Doctor Who season 10 on Showmax now!

Cape Town - Season 10 of Doctor Who has landed on Showmax, ahead of BBC Studios in Africa hosting a special Doctor Who experience at Africa’s first-ever Comic-Con this weekend.

This is the last chance to see Peter Capaldi as the Twelfth Doctor and the finale gives viewers a first glimpse of award-winning actress Jodie Whittaker (Attack The Block, Broadchurch) as the new Doctor.

Expect the signature Doctor Who mix of action, wit, and epic adventures in space and time in this final season under the helm of Emmy award-winning lead writer and executive producer Steven Moffat (Sherlock).

The season has a 91% critics score on Rotten Tomatoes. As The Guardian wrote when they hailed it as some of the best TV of 2017, “Showrunner Steven Moffat and Peter Capaldi have stepped up their game for their last trip in the Tardis. From the ballsy new companion Bill Potts (Pearl Mackie) to the return of Missy and the most iconic 60s monsters, the Mondasian Cybermen, it’s been barnstorming.”

Internationally, it was BBC America’s number one series, a top five highest-rated drama series for young adults in the UK, and the highest-rated show on Space in Canada.
