In Showmax's racy upcoming Afrikaans series, Koek, a housewife is driven to the extreme after she discovers her husband's infidelity.
The streaming service released a trailer for the series on Tuesday.
"When Cape Town housewife Christelle Smit discovers evidence her husband is having an affair with a stripper named Candi Floss, her investigation takes her to a world poles apart from the Northern Suburbs utopia she knows," a description for Koek reads.
The black crime comedy stars Cindy Swanepoel, Sandra Prinsloo, and Dawid Minnaar, with showrunner Christiaan Olwagen.
Swanepoel was honoured at the SAFTAs and Silwerskerm Awards last year for her role as Annelize in Binnelanders.
"[Koek] is the story of a woman who has to lose everything in order to find herself," Olwagen said in a press release.

"Cindy delivers the performance of her life: she's beautiful, she's funny, she's sad, and she's sexy," added Olwagen. "You really feel for her."
The series is also set to feature a cameo from rapper Jack Parow, with the artist contributing music.
Produced by Wolflight Films, Koek was mainly shot in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town.
The show premieres on 29 February on Showmax, with new episodes on Thursdays until 2 May 2024.
