Cape Town – The duchess has been crowned – this time as 2019's Most Powerful Dresser.
According to Vogue, statistics from Lyst, a global fashion search platform, has given the royal the title after her looks garnered a 216 percent increase in consumer searches.
Second to the duchess was Call Me by Your Name actor, Timothée Chalamet, followed by names such as Zendaya, Cardi B and Billie Eilish.
According to Harper's BAZAAR, Meghan's trip to South Africa, in particular, resulted in her taking the top spot. During the tour searches for shirt dresses – like the one she wore when she visited District Six in Cape Town – increased by 45 percent.

The Club Monaco-style dress – like the one she wore when she took Archie to visit Archbishop Desmond Tutu – increased by 570 percent. It reportedly sold out in 24 hours.
