Robbie Williams set to headline first night of Calabash South Africa music festival in 2025

UK singer Robbie Williams is set to perform at the Calabash music festival in 2025.

He will perform on the first nights of the festival (18 and 22 January) in Johannesburg and Cape Town.

The event takes place on 18 and 19 January at the FNB Stadium in Johannesburg and on 22 and 23 January at the DHL Stadium in Cape Town.

The 48-hour pre-sale for the first day of Calabash South Africa 2025 opens on 10 April at 09:00 on Ticketmaster; the general sale opens on 12 April at 9:00.

The second night of the festival will be headlined by US rock act Green Day. Punk band The Offspring have also been announced as second night performers, along with local group Fokofpolisiekar. The rest of the lineup has yet to be announced.

Calabash had its inaugural edition last year and featured international acts Maroon 5, Keane, Ava Max and Meduza.

The festival is presented by Big Concerts, 947, M-Net and Kfm.

Williams was a member of the popular boy band Take That and went on to have a successful solo career. He has delivered global hits such as Angels and Millennium.

The singer last had SA performances in 2006 as part of his world tour.
