Isidingo actress Khanya Greens ties the knot in Swati-themed traditional affair

The coming together of two families as a symbol of a union of love is an incredibly amazing experience and that’s exactly what Khanya Greens and her husband, Mpumi, wanted.
The pair who met back in 2014 said their “I do’s” in an intimate traditional SiSwati wedding ceremony. Taking to Instagram to share the precious moment which was captured on camera by SABC1’s lifestyle magazine show Selimathunzi, Khanya gave her followers a sneak peek into their special day.
“We interview him . . . we had to interview him otherwise how would we know this man? As we interviewed him he talked about his dad and sobbed, literally he cried and I said, ‘This is the one’,” Khanya’s mother said in one of the clips.
Khanya, who wore an all-white mermaid-tail gown with gold shoulder accessories, stood alongside her groom who looked dashing in his traditional Swati attire. The actress admitted she was the one who put pressure on Mpumi for marriage.
“I was the one who put pressure [on him] ’When are you marrying me, when are you marrying me?’ I was definitely sure that this was the guy for me,” she said.
Speaking in another clip the groom, who met his gorgeous bride once at Mandela Square and decided she would be his girlfriend before they even started dating, applauded Khanya’s wonderful heart.
“What made me make the decision to marry her is the heart that she has. She has a really beautiful heart and she’s a really caring person.”
