Cape Town - Idols SA season 8 winner Khaya Mthethwa and his wife Miss South Africa 2016 Ntando Kunene-Mthethwa are officially expecting their first child together.
Khaya made the big reveal on his Instagram page on Saturday night sending a flood of congratulations from his fans and friends.
In the picture he shared, Khaya and Ntando are all smiles with Khaya cradling Ntando’s gorgeous baby bump.
"Thank you for carrying one the greatest gifts in my life! May God bless this new journey babe @mthethwa_ntando ?? - now is it a boy or a girl," he wrote.
The couple were married last year in December in a private traditional ceremony in Khaya’s hometown, Durban.
In an interview with DRUM earlier this year Khaya gushed over his wife.
I love her because she respects herself,” he says. “She respects people. Beyond her achievements she’s just a great person. God helped me find a wife who loves God and family. She’s a disciplined person with strong family values.”
