Cape Town - Local rapper Nasty C may only be 22 years old but he recently celebrated his seven year anniversary with his high school sweetheart, Sam.
Nasty C – real name David Junior Ngcobo – took to Instagram to write his longtime girlfriend a heartfelt message to celebrate their anniversary and went as far as sharing a screen shot of their conversation on Whatsapp.
“…Happy Anniversary My woman!!! Thank you for always being there for me & playing your part! Thank you for being the first person EVER to sing my songs back at me I don’t even have to tell you what that’s done for me, you see it everyday & you forever will coz I’ll always be by your side. I owe your mother the world because she created mine I. Love. You, [sic]” he captioned a short video of him kissing his girlfriend.

Sam and Nasty C started dating when he was 15 and she was 14 years old.
At the beginning of his career, he kept their relationship private and for good reason.
In an interview with TshisaLIVE, Nasty C explained that he didn’t want to go public to avoid distracting her while she was in her final year at high school.
“Before I didn’t wanna do none of that because she was still in high school and in matric too. I didn’t want to do that to her, you know distract her. Plus I was still kind of blowing up and it was hard for me to adjust, so I wanted to give her time.”
Now, three years later, the rapper and his girlfriend have gone public and Sam has amassed a huge following for herself on Instagram with over 200 000 followers.
