Iyah! WWE and John Cena send a shout out to Sho Madjozi after Colors performance goes viral

Cape Town - WWE wrestler John Cena gave local sensation Sho Madjozi his stamp of approval after she debuted her newest track John Cena on music platform Colors.

Colors is a unique aesthetic music platform which features mostly up and coming artists from all around the globe - filmed in a brightly coloured cube.

In June, the Tsonga rapper walked away with the BET Award for Best International Act - and made history as the first South African female to do so!

Sho joins Sjava as one of the few South Africans to perform on Colors, joining the likes of Jorja Smith, Ari Lennox and Billie Eilish.

Following the release of the YouTube video, Missy Elliot retweeted a video of Sho on Thursday using the flame emoji and the word: "SUPA."

On Saturday, WWE also recognised Sho's hit track saying the new tune "will have the entire WWE Universe acting rough like John Cena," referring to the catchy lyrics:

Some gonna act rough like John Cena

Some gonna get buff like John Cena

"You might not be able to see it, but you can certainly HEAR the newest song of the summer "John Cena" by South African rapper/songwriter @ShoMadjozi," the wrestling organisation tweeted.

The American wrestler and TV personality also sent a special shout out the local musician, sharing a photo of Sho on his Instagram page.

Sho shared her reaction to the post on Twitter, with a video of herself being visibly stunned.

"Guys what's happening!?!?!? I can't see who just posted me!" she wrote.
