Listeners across the city may know the name EB Inglis from his various stints at radio stations in Cape Town.
The seasoned broadcaster, father and musician will become a household name when he joins the Kfm 94.5 heavyweight line-up as of 24 February 2020.
EB Inglis will follow popular daytime host, Tracey Lange, weekdays as he steps behind the microphone for his new 12:00 - 15:00 show.
In addition, he will also host Weekend Breakfast on Saturdays from 7:00 - 10:00.
EB's experience in the entertainment industry moves in various spheres. He's worked as a broadcaster on Ratanga Radio, Fine Music Radio as well as Good Hope FM and is currently the weekday afternoon drive show host on Magic 828AM as well as the station producer for The Sound of Ackermans.
He added: "Tracey and EB will work together to provide the perfect soundtrack to your workday with great content, lots of personality and of course, the most music to make you feel great!".
He's performed on multiple stages in various music and theatre productions at The Artscape Theatre, Baxter Theatre, Barnyard, On Broadway, Ratanga Junction, The Rockwell Theatre and The Roxy Revue Bar at Grand West.
He's shared the stage with the likes of The Black Ties, Chad Saaiman, Lloyd Jansen, Keeno Lee, Lucy Tops, Ramaine Barreiro, O'Ryan Winter and Idols winner Sasha Lee. He's also featured in the 2017 short films by director, Imran Hamdulay, titled "Brother" and "Fatima".
"I look forward to reintroducing myself to Capetonians at the Western Cape's biggest radio station. Listeners can look forward to a refreshed sound during their workday whilst familiar favourites like the seven-in-a-row music marathon every hour feature will remain part of the fabric of my weekday show," said EB.
"It doesn't get bigger than Kfm 94.5 and I'm excited about the chance to grow the lunchtime audience. A big plus to joining the Kfm 94.5 family is the opportunity to tap into my to my radio repertoire by kick-starting Saturdays for the people of the Cape with a healthy mix of sport and lifestyle content," he continued.
With just over two thousand subscribers on YouTube, EB has also made a name for himself as a Youtuber with his vlog, Studio Talk, which aims to help upcoming music makers with the admin side of the music industry.
