Bongani Mtolo leaves East Coast Radio Drive

Johannesburg – Radio star Bongani Mtolo waves goodbye to KZN's East Coast Radio where he co-hosted the East Coast Drive. 

The presenter replaced Phat Joe in 2017 on the Drive show, and according to a statement from the station is leaving on a positive note.

"Bongani made the decision to leave the station as other opportunities have become available to him," it reads. 

Speaking about his departure, Bongani says: "I've had an amazing time at East Coast Radio and I am very excited about my next chapter. Keep an eye out and an ear out to find out where my next chapter is going to be."

The station says a stand-in presenter to co-host the drive show with Mags and Gareth will be announced soon while they research and strategise around a new show. 

Bongani's last show will be on Thursday 26 July.
