Bonang's Twitter account mysteriously disappears

Cape Town - Bonang Matheba, who is one of the most followed celebrities in South African on Twitter, has mysteriously disappeared from the social media site.

With no warning, the TV personality - who's garnered over 3 million followers - vanished from the social media site on Thursday.

Bonang joined Twitter in 2010.

Queen B is currently in New York, where she paid a visit to Trevor Noah on the set of The Daily Show and celebrated his birthday with cupcakes

The sudden disappearance comes just days after Cassper 'bought' back his account from social media hackers.

When asked for comment by The Juice, Bonang's management referred to a statement shared on the 31-year-old's official fan page.

The statement reads: "Bonang's account appears to have been hacked (currently saying 'user not found'). Please be patient and do not believe any information unless it comes from her directly (on Instagram) or from her team at @CSAglobal_ We hope this will be sort as fast as possible."
