Multi-award-winning artist Zahara is often the centre of attention and a big crowd puller at festivals. However, what we didn’t know is that she’s petrified of public speaking.
The Mgodi singer who is currently touring Canada and the United States of America had to talk at a human rights conference in Canada. Despite having performed her hits in front of crowds around the world, the singer has admitted that she has public speaking anxiety.
The muso recently had to overcome her fear of public speaking as she was one of the main speakers in that conference.
Taking to her Instagram page she shared her experience with her fans.
“This tour is not only about me performing but also about me talking about human rights. It’s going to be my first speech tonight. I’m not nervous about talking about it. I’m nervous about people. I’m scared of people and how they will receive what I’m going to say because I’ll be speaking from the heart,” she revealed.
Zahara later revealed that even though she had her inhibitions about speaking in front of a crowd, she managed to get through it.
“So I did deliver my speech from my heart and the statistics of our human rights,” she wrote on her Instagram page.
