Former Miss Jam Alley and Miss Soweto-turned-radio and TV personality Lerato Kganyago shares what she can’t live without and what she’d tell her teenage self.
5 minutes to make something to eat, what will it be?I totally love noodles. I would make a bit of a stir-fry that takes me about five minutes to whip up.
4 things you can’t live without?
I can’t live without my gadgets, laptop, cellphone and my Bible – which is on my phone and the Bible that is in my car.
3 people you’d like to have a drink with or collaborate with?
Locally, I can’t think of anyone, sorry, and I can’t choose only three. Abroad, I would definitely like to do something with Rihanna, Cameron Diaz, Angelina Jolie – the list is endless.
2 things you’d tell your teenage self?
One, patience is a virtue – our success won’t come at the same time. So be patient in your own journey. Two, not everyone has your best interests at heart so never let down your guard.
1 place you’d run away
to?
It has to be any place in the wild, where there is complete darkness, complete
silence. No sound of cars, aircraft and all you hear is a lion roaring or birds
in the evening chirping away.
