Pearl Thusi wowed fans when she made her American TV debut on crime series Quantico last year. Now the KwaZulu-Natal beauty is in Cape Town filming fantasy film The Scorpion King: Book of Souls. Pearl stars as a warrior princess of Nubia in the fifth installment of the Scorpion King series. Other cast members include fellow South African actor Brandon Auret (Disctrict 9, Elysium), Zach McGowan (Agents of Shield, Black Sails) Nathan Jones (Mad Max: Fury Road), Mayling Ng (Wonder Woman), and Peter Mensah (Spartacus, Sleepy Hollow).
