Entertainers Ntando Duma and Junior De Rocka welcomed their first child together in 2017 and although the pair split shortly after Ntando fell pregnant – they seemed to have been co-parenting well, or so we thought.
Taking to her Twitter page to make the shocking revelation, Ntando Duma wrote a thread about how her baby daddy has not been contributing towards raising their one-year-old daughter.
It all started when a Twitter user, posted a congratulatory tweet after Junior allegedly donated computers, Wi-Fi routers, sanitary items , stationary and cleaning items at Wiggins Secondary school in KwaZulu-Natal.
Ntando did not take kindly to Junior’s generous act and took the opportunity to expose that he couldn’t do the same for his child.
“I don't even remember him "donating" such essentials for his daughter but Ke askho lapho...,” she responded to the tweet.
The 23-year-old also claimed that Junior avails himself to their child only when it suits him.
“Imagine thinking being a parent/ taking responsibility of your own child is a craving... You only avail yourself when sebono sa gago se dumela!! La lapisa man! ,” she wrote before saying that she was not one to write about her personal life on Twitter and that this time, the rapper had pushed her too far.
Tweeps did not react kindly to this news and immediately accused Junior De Rocka of being a ‘deadbeat’ father.
After keeping mum on the matter all day , Junior De Rocka broke his silence by posting a statement onto his social media pages where he denies not contributing financially towards Sbahle's life and further accuses the Gqom nation presenter of lying about him and trying to ruin his reputation.
"I hate doing this & I had always promised myself I would never empty my laundry in public. But I have to set the record straight now, I had no choice , " he began.
"I may have difference with the mother of my child (Duma Ntando) But the allegations that I do not support my child are false, malicious and very hurtful to me and my family.I DO SUPPORT MY CHILD. I LOVE HER AND I WOULD DO ANYTHING FOR HER,"
"...when people (NOT EVEN MYSELF) post what I've done you decide to spoil it and continue with your agenda of making people hate me. Anyways, Last year I got served with court papers that I do not support my child, imagine, which prompted me to start sending money via my bank account so it can be traceable. It was like I knew days like these were not so far," he explained before revealing that there was proof of him paying over R20000 into Ntando's account between September 2018 and January 2019.
Junior also explained that he was not allowed to see their child even after paying damages for her and also accused Ntando of sending him pictures of "herspending time with her boyfriends WITH MY BABY just to inflict pain."
Ending off the statement , the rapper urged Ntando to meet with him and discuss their issues privately. He also shared several screenshots of payments made into Ntando's alleged FNB account for their daughter.
