LootLove ends her journey with ‘Absolute Hip Hop’: “Onwards and upwards”

Award-winning radio DJ, LootLove, announced her departure from the radio show, ‘Absolute Hip Hop’ which airs on Metro FM, every Saturday.

‘Absolute Hip Hop’, which she co-hosts with DJ Speedsta, was first aired on Metro on the 1 April 2016 and she has been a part of the show ever since.

Loot took to her Instagram page to announce the last day that she will be on air alongside Speedsta.


In a lengthy caption where she reminisces about how her journey began she wrote,

“I remember exactly where I was when I heard we’d be teaming up, more blown away by the fact that I had mentioned to someone in passing that if I had to team up with anyone when it came to radio, it would be you.”

Her co-host, DJ Speedsta also expressed how much he is going to miss being on air with her.


Fans commented on her Twitter post and wished her well on her future endeavours but also expressed how sad they are about her departure.

The mother of two ended the sentimental caption with the words, “Onwards and upwards. Every end is a beginning & I can’t wait to see what the next chapter brings![sic].”

She is yet to comment on her new venture but has confirmed that she will still be on air in the future.
