Rappers are known to give their loved ones super-expensive luxury gifts so it didn’t really come as a shock when Future bought his 5-year-old son a Rolex for his birthday. Yet fans weren’t pleased.
Taking to Instagram to share the moment, Future posted a picture of Future Jnr wearing his brand-new timepiece. “‘It was somethin bout that rollie when it first touched my wrist’ – Meek,” he captioned the post, quoting Meek Mill’s Dreams and Nightmares.
While Future may have thought he hit the mark with the gift, some tweeps criticised the rapper for getting his child a gift that wouldn’t be useful to him yet.
Others even compared how Future Jnr’s stepfather, Russell Wilson, spent quality time with him by taking him go-karting for his birthday.
