Twenty-one days in isolation is surely giving us a lot of time for introspection – and it seems our favourite celebrities have been doing the same.

TV presenter Ayanda Thabethe recently took to Twitter to share her reflections on her past relationships – and the verdict? She’s better off as friends with her exes.

In the tweet she wrote: “It’s so weird how well I get along with all my exes . . . I think I just really liked them as people until we complicated things by trying to date.”

The model was previously married to media personality Andile Ncube who she was with for several years before getting married.

However, their marriage was short-lived as it came to an end when rumours that Andile was cheating on her became public.

Speaking to DJ Fresh in a 2018 interview, Ayanda opened up about her divorce.

"I think that it is growth. It's understanding that it's okay when things don't work out. And it's also spilling yourself and everything that you have into something. And when it doesn't work because you've given everything that you had, you don't have any regrets about it. You don't have any ‘what if's’ or whatever. So, when you move on, it's completely over and you wish the other person the best," she explained.

Her most recent public relationship was with rapper and former Dreamteam member Zulu Mkhathini.

The pair dated for almost three years and the reason for their split remains unknown.

After much speculation, Ayanda confirmed the break-up through her Instagram Stories. She answered one fan who asked: “You still in a relationship with Zulu Mkhatini? [sic]”

“I’m single again. I’ll always think the world of him,” the TV presenter wrote in response.
