Celebs whose dogs will melt your heart

It’s that time of the week again. The time to get your weekly dose of female empowerment meets adrenaline as a new episode of Not A Diva reaches your TV screens. SA’s hot new show is brought to you by the female-focused insurance company 1st for Women who offer insurance specifically designed for women.

With a wag of a tail and the drip of a panting tongue, dogs have captured the hearts of billions across the world and it’s no surprise why these floofy good boys and girls have earned the title of being our best friend.

There are few things as heart-warming as watching our favourite celebs share their four-legged besties with us – especially if they have their own social media handles for us to follow, like and sub to.

Some of our favourite local celeb pooches include:

Micasa’s J Something and his bestie Charlie Brown

Pearl Thusi and her trio: Maya, Smokey and Marley (with a special feature of her cat Sarah)

Theatre acting dog, Bogart

Honourable international dog mentions:

Bradley Cooper’s pooch, Charlie, delivered us a stellar performance in his acting debut alongside his pops in A Star is Born.

Demi Lovato’s adorable fluffy friends, Batman & Cinderella and the late Buddy

Kylie Jenner’s pooch pack: Her Italian Greyhounds Norman and Bambi being the most known of her pack.

We all love the joy our furry friends bring into our lives and homes. However, training these energetic bundles of fluff and barks to not tear up all the furniture can be rough.

That’s exactly the challenge Saffa actress, Khabonina Qubeka, will be tackling in the upcoming episode of Not A Diva, which is brought to you in the comfort of your home by the female-first insurance company, 1st for Women.

You can be sure to catch all the action and pro K9 training tips over on Mzansi Magic channel 161 on Thursday, April 25th at 21:30.

First for Women Insurance Company Limited is an authorised insurer and financial services provider (FSP licence number: 15261).
