Cape Town - We’ve seen him on our screens since 1975 and there’s no denying that former TV news reader Riaan Cruywagen has made his mark in South African television.

But now the familiar TV face has taken it a step further.

Riaan has collaborated with popular streaming network Netflix to promote the latest season of its popular show, Stranger Things.

Released on 4 July, the third season of Stranger Things has had a great response, being downloaded on 40 million Netflix accounts in just its first week.

In a one-of-a-kind news show, called "Mysteries at Eleven", Riaan is back as news reader, this time highlighting all the happenings and Stranger Things taking place in the small town of Hawkins.
