Mindy Kaling has blessed our feeds with the first look of her Netflix series.
The coming-of-age comedy Never Have I Ever centres on the complicated life of a modern-day first-generation Indian American teenage girl.
Newcomer Maitreyi Ramakrishnan plays Devi, an overachieving high school sophomore who has a short fuse that gets her into difficult situations.
On Thursday, Mindy shared a teaser of the series and its release date on Instagram.
Alongside the clip she wrote: "Hitting you with a 'Hey guys, I am so excited to announce...' because I am truly SO excited to officially announce the release date of @loulielang and my new show, @neverhaveiever, coming to @netflix April 27! #NeverHaveIEver follows the life of a modern first-generation Indian American girl (shout out @maitreyiramakrishnan), and I can't wait for you to see it."

In a sit down with Constance Wu for Variety Studio: Actors on Actors Mindy spoke about how they cast Maitreyi.
The Oceans 8 actress posted an open casting call on Twitter after they found that the pool was too small.
"I just posted on Twitter and Instagram, with the help of Netflix and Universal who were paying for the show, 'Hey! If you are an Indian-American girl from 15-22,' and for the mom and older cousin, 'please write to this email.'
"So we found this young 17-year-old girl from Toronto, no acting experience, and she's the star of my new show", explained Mindy.
Never Have I Ever releases on Netflix April 27.
