WATCH: It's only episode 2 and there's already so much drama on The Bachelor SA

Cape Town - On this week’s instalment of M-Net’s sizzling new reality show The Bachelor SA, dashing former Sharks rugby player and international model Lee Thompson continues his quest for true love as he embarks on his very first group date and one-on-one date of the season.

The 21 stunning ladies, who all received roses from South Africa’s hot TV bachelor after the last week’s red carpet arrivals and first cocktail party, are noticeably anxious when the show’s consummate host, Jason Greer, arrives at the mansion with their first group date card.

Lawyer Edith Mokoetsi will have the honour of reading his special invitation, but whose names will be included, as only ten of them will have the opportunity to get to know him a little better on the sports field? The date has been designed to show off the ladies’ competitive side and it’s literally game on for them to catch Lee’s eye.

The Bachelor SA.

For the first single date, Lee invites the lucky lady on a trip to Cape Town, where they explore the romantic side of the Mother City. But while they’re having fun, there’s drama, tears and a runaway bachelorette at the mansion. It all starts when the beauties start ganging up against the graceful belle who received Lee’s first impression rose – Michelle R.

Why are the claws coming out so soon and will the tension and emotion spill over to the next rose ceremony?

This week, Lee only has 17 roses to hand out, meaning three of them will go home.
