Cape Town – Remember when we reported that a Bad Boys spinoff series starring Gabrielle Union and Jessica Alba is in the works?
Well, there’s finally a trailer for the show!
In LA’s Finest Union reprises her role as LAPD detective, Syd Burnett from the movie Bad Boys II.
According to the official synopsis Syd is paired with a new partner, Nancy McKenna (Jessica Alba), a working mom with an equally complex past. These two women don’t agree on much, but they find common ground when it comes to taking on the most dangerous criminals in Los Angeles.

The series hits the US streaming service Spectrum on 13 May.
The Breaking Bad actress shared a clip on her Instagram account with the caption: May 13th... you’re gunna want to remember that date. Bad girls bringing the fire to LA's Finest."
