Cape Town – In honour of the final season of Vikings we have rounded up three things to watch dedicated to the Norsemen.
Vikings
The final season of Vikings picks up after "the battle between brothers" which left Bjorn victorious and a hero to the people who had been under the tyrannical rule of Ivar for so long. As the new leader of Kattegat, Bjorn struggles to fill his late father's shoes as king, while facing several dilemmas and wrestling with the idea that power overshadows morals. Meanwhile, Ivar, searching for a new path to separate him from his past, is seen travelling along the Silk Road, eventually leading him to Russia. There, he meets his match in Prince Oleg (Danila Kozlovsky), a ruthless and unpredictable Russian ruler, who shocks even Ivar with his merciless actions.
The Last Kingdom
During their invasion of England, the Danes capture Uhtred, a young successor of Saxon earldom, and raise him as their own. Years later, Uhtred's loyalties are put to the test by the Danes.
Thor Ragnarok
Thor and Loki join forces with unexpected allies against a new foe that has arisen unexpectedly out of the ashes of tragedy; an enemy who intends to fulfil the Ragnarok prophecy and bring ruin and destruction down on Asgard and the other realms of the multiverse: their sister and Odin's first-born, Hella.
