Cape Town – Netflix's hit series The Crown is one of the most talked about shows in the current of prestige TV. The upcoming third season is hotly anticipated because it will feature a new cast of actors taking over the royal roles of Queen Elizabeth, Prince Philip, Prince Charles, Princess Margaret and more.
In a two-minute trailer, released on Monday, we get a glimpse of several historical events including the Aberfan disaster of 1966 and see tensions rise within the family itself as the Queen approaches her Silver Jubilee.

Oscar-winner Olivia Colman and Tobias Menzies will star as Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip along with Helena Bonham-Carter as Princess Margaret and Gillian Anderson also set to portray Margaret Thatcher.
Josh O'Connor (who starred in The Durrells) has taken over the role of Prince Charles, and Emerald Fennell – of the BBC's Call The Midwife takes on the part of Camilla.
