The Bachelor SA: The rocky road to love for Lee and his leading ladies come to an end tonight

Cape Town – 12 weeks ago South Africa's first ever bachelor, Lee Thompson, started on his quest for true love.

It started out with 24 potential women vying for his heart, and now we are down to the final two.

On Thursday in a 90-minute finale on M-Net (DStv 101) at 19:00 we will see whether Jozaan or Gina captured his heart.

In the special episode, the other contestants will reveal all in The Women Tell All segment, and we will also find out what happened After the Final Rose.

Ahead of the big announcement we look at Lee's journey with the final two.

Jozaan Digue

Outspoken Pretoria-based lawyer Jozaan was a dark horse in the competition only catching Lee's attention later in the series.

She was a part of the water-obstacle challenge, the cowboy-themed group date and the steam-punk photoshoot, which earned her one-on-one time with Lee in a high-tea setting, where they got to know each other better and shared many kisses.

Their connection got deeper went he took her on a romantic getaway to Zimbabwe in episode 8. At the end of their dream date, Lee confessed that he was falling for the 28-year-old.

Jozaan, in turn, professed her love to Lee in episode 11 on the beach in Mauritius: "I think after Zimbabwe and spending the most incredible time with you here, it's not crazy to say I love you."

Gina Myers

Right from the start make-up artist, Gina made an impression on Lee.

She went on a limited number of group dates, having only attended the water-obstacle challenge, the steam-punk photoshoot and sky-diving date.

In episode 5 Gina got some one-on-one with an intimate perfume-making experience in episode five, after intriguing Lee with her three guilty pleasures. The pair shared an afternoon of romantic fragrances, wine, cheese, chemistry and the most electrifying kiss of the season up until that point.

Ahead of hometown dates in episode 8, the 31-year-old won some more time with Lee by winning a challenge. They spent the rest of the afternoon on a stationary train at Gold Reef, just talking and strengthening their connection.

In Mauritius, Gina received one of the final two roses. Secure in her bond with Lee she said: "I don't feel guilty about being here. I'm here for a reason, and I'm really excited."
