Paris Jackson to cameo in new 'Scream' TV series

Cape Town - Actress and model Paris Jackson is in for a scare after landing a role in the rebooted Scream TV series.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the series has been in the works for three and a half years and will air on VH1.

The six-episode season of Scream: Resurrection will be a three-night event and will air from Monday, 8 July through to Wednesday, 10 July.

The season will centre on Delon Elliot (RJ Cyler) a football star whose tragic past comes to haunt him.

Other cast members include Mary J. Blige, Keke Palmer, Tyler Posey, Tyga, Gloria Whigham Jessica Sula, C.J. Wallace and Giullian Yao Gioiello.
