New HBO documentary tracks ‘Serial’ case

Cape Town - A new four-part HBO documentary called The Case Against Adnan Syed offers a fresh look at evidence - and the latest developments - in a murder case made famous by the hit Serial podcast five years ago.

Directed by Academy Award-nominee Amy Berg, the series explores the 1999 disappearance and murder of 18-year-old Baltimore County high school student Hae Min Lee, and the subsequent conviction of her ex-boyfriend, Adnan Syed.
