Netflix has picked up the cancelled drama Lucifer for season 4

Cape Town - Streaming service Netflix has picked up the cancelled Fox drama, Lucifer for Season 4.

The show was cancelled on 28 May and since then it’s fans have rallied online to get it another season on another network; the renewal can be seen as a victory for their movement. 

Series lead Tom Ellis, South African actress Lesley-Ann Brandt and cast member Lauren German expressed their joy that the show will be back and thanked fans.

“Can’t express how grateful and humbled I am by the wave of support that you have all given,” Tom wrote on Instagram.
