Cape Town - Mulisa Mudau is the newest cast member on SABC 2’s Muvhango.
The 24-year-old, who hails from Limpopo, shot to our screens as contestant on Mzansi Insider Presenter Search, which she unfortunately didn’t win.
Nonetheless, this didn’t deter her from pursuing her dream.
Despite studying towards a Library and Information Sciences qualification at the University of Limpopo, she always wanted to be on TV.
She told TimesLive that she got a call to audition for a more suitable show. "Just as I was finishing up my exams, I got the call that I got the Real Goboza job."
She got so emotional that she couldn’t hold tears. It was a dream come true. "I cried tears of joy and fell into prayer," she said in an interview with Melenial.
She became a field reporter for the show, attending A-list events and interviewing celebrities.
The actress is now joining one of the biggest soapies in the country, Muvhango.
When announcing the news, she reflected on her journey to how she got here.
Taking to her Instagram page she explained her character.
She will be playing a waitress by the name of Elelwani. She is broke and is a troublemaker.
