Cape Town - Exploding onto SABC 3 screens from Monday, 11 February at 19:30 on SABC3, is the new reality dating show The Longest Date.
The original format was created for SABC 3 by Samantha and Graeme Moon.
Hosted by Christopher Jafta - 16 ordinary, single South Africans on an epic journey to face their fears in gruelling challenges and ultimately to find love and claim the grand prize of R100 000.
The singles are then matched into couples and the eight new couples then embark on a journey to experience the most extreme adventures Mpumalanga has to offer, all the while trying to make a love match.

I'm a 28-year-old male who's been single for the past year or so? I am not the easiest person to get along with, which I blame entirely on being Pisces. Despite my career choice, I am quite the introvert. I don't look for attention or willingly seek to meet new people. I spend a lot of time with family and I love finding new "good food" spots across the country. I'm a sucker for good energy and spending time outdoors.

Corporate slave turned Stunt Performer. After my divorce in 2013 I decided to give up my job in Advertising and follow my dream of being a Stunt Performer. Along the way, fitness and healthy living became my life and I am constantly training, setting goals and learning new ways in which to push my body - from Crossfit to Yoga. Surfing to Mixed Martial Arts - I'm always trying new things and being amazed at what the body can actually achieve. I love helping people of all ages and walks of life reach their full potential and follow what makes them happy, smashing goals along the way of cause. My life revolves around 2 mottos; ‘Anything is Possible’ and ‘Dreams become Reality’. Winner of Ms Figure and runner up in Miss Bikini at Fitness America 2017 in Las Vegas, I want people to realise that it's never too late to make a change and there's no such thing as a dream too big. In a few words I am a skilled, forward thinking and vibrant young woman who is a bundle of creativity in media practices. I do a few things you could call a job: radio presenter, newsreader, content producer, musician, voice-over artist, events promoter and coordinator. I feel my hospitable interpersonal skills have allowed me to balance my abilities in the media world through my passion for the craft. I am a young, fun, loud and extremely outgoing individual. I am proud to say I have four degree's (two masters). I am well-travelled; I have had the opportunity to visit incredible places all around the world. My love and passion for travel, adventure and partying has taken me to places like Tromso in Norway to see the northern lights, Pamplona where I ran with the bulls (craziest thing I’ve done), and of course the crazy music festivals like Tomorrowland, Ultra Music Festival, Ibiza and the list goes on, where I have met incredible people along the way (Spanish girls for the win!). I am the "single" guy in my group of friends, known as the guy often with a new girl. I quite enjoy Cape Town because it is where a lot of the models live, so it’s a win win kind of situation.

I am fun, relaxed and extreme sports enthusiast. I enjoy hanging out with friends having drinks and relaxing in front of a braai, or simply training for my mixed martial arts amateur fights.
