The actor revealed that they will be on this show by sharing images of their characters and captioned it, '#TheBrothersOnAndOffScreen'.
Before the big reveal, there were reports that SK was shown the door at The Queen because of alleged unprofessional conduct. But it’s seems that wasn’t true as the actor is still working for the Fergusons.
However, Head of PR & Publicity at Mzansi Magic, Philly Kubheka said his departure was due to the actor’s character no longer fitting in with the storyline.
Shaka Khoza was killed off on The Queen Mzansi recently and this didn’t sit well with viewers, so much so that over 26 000 people signed a petition to keep him on.
The petition was started by Musa Ngobeni who said the actor "deserves better."
"This petition is to ask the Ferguson Films to either reconsider the termination of Shaka's contract, also known as Sithembiso Khoza. And if the production company cannot do that, to at least give him an honourable send off, after all the years that he has graced our screens," the petition reads.
