The Duke and Duchess of Sussex seem to have ruffled a few feathers.
The pair have reportedly stopped being invited to dinner parties because of their public displays of affection (PDA), Fox News reports.
A royal insider also revealed that the love birds couldn’t bear being seated apart, and often break etiquette.
The duchess reportedly dismisses seating protocol at soirees because she considered them to be too “traditional and exclusive”, The Sun reports.
Her insistence that she and her husband are seated next to each other has apparently upset Harry’s high-society friends. The couple’s tendency to engage in PDA – a habit very much attributed to Meghan’s American heritage – is found by many British traditionalists to be “distasteful”, the Daily Mail reports.
At least their affection is genuine and not, as Elle recently clarified, just all for public show.
“None of it’s an act. Meghan and Harry really are that blissfully into each other,” a royal source revealed at the time.
