Shota, whose real name is Mnqobi Mdabe has come out of a musical hiatus. The muso reveals that he had to take some time away from the limelight because his last-born son was diagnosed with cancer which left him blind. He took time out to be with his family. His son was cleared of the Cancer in October of 2016 and is now in remission.

Shota is now back stronger than ever and wants to make people dance again. The song titled Amatafula is a single from his upcoming dance album titled “House of Legends”. It talks about having a good time, shutting out any bad vibes. It emphasizes the fact that in whatever you go through in life, at the end of the day you need to turn the tables around, fight the good fight of life!

The album is due out early next year, for Worldwide release, feat the likes of David Morales, Nicki Monty, Vanco, Pascal Moraise, Dr Moruti, Timmy Regisford, MaTen10 just to name a few.
