Like Tata Madiba was said “There can be no greater gift than that of giving one’s time and energy to help others without expecting anything in return.” Looks like our celebs lived up to that on Mandela Day.

Some of the Generation the Legacy actors also did their bit on Mandela day by painting Nkathuto Primary School in Johannesburg.

Rapper AKA took so time off from the music to spend 67 minutes with kids from Jabulani Khakibos Kids, a home for abused, abandoned and orphaned boys who previously lived and worked on the streets.

Looks Afrotainment boss, DJ Tira aka Malume rolled up his sleeves to do some gardening on Mandela day.

Miss South African 2018 Tamaryn Green had so much fun joining the Cell C volunteer team to paint the classroom walls of Tshilidzi Primary School.

Due to his busy schedule DJ Shimza wasn’t in the country to celebrate Mandela day but that didn’t stop him from honouring Madiba’s legacy, all the way from Ibiza in Spain. The Deck spinner donated 67 school shoes with the help of his friends.
