Paris Jackson is quashing rumours that she was hospitalised after an apparent suicide attempt.
Michael Jackson’s daughter was reportedly rushed to a Los Angeles hospital on Saturday after slashing her wrists, TMZ reports.
It was later reported that the 20-year-old was in a stable condition despite “losing a lot of blood”.
A spokesperson from the Los Angeles Police Department told US Weekly that an ambulance attended to a suicide attempt at Paris’ home.
“We can confirm that an ambulance attended a suicide attempt at the 7200 block of Hillside in Los Angeles earlier today,” the spokesperson said.
“The victim was transported to a local hospital – under HIPPA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) rules we cannot reveal this person’s identity.”
But Paris took to Twitter the same day to deny the reports.
“Lies, lies, lies omg and more lies,” Paris tweeted.
A source close to the American model told People that she’s doing just fine.
“Paris had an accident this morning that required medical treatment,” a source said. “She’s currently resting at home and doing fine.”
The reports come after Paris spoke out about HBO documentary Leaving Neverland, in which her late father is accused of sexually abusing two men when they were kids.
“There’s nothing I can say that hasn’t already been said in regard to defence,” she said.
“That’s not my role. I’m just tryna [sic] get everyone to chill out and go with the flow, be mellow and think about the bigger picture. That’s me.”
