DJ Tira recently opened up in a TV interview on Channel O’s music show called Beyond The Music about people who held his hand when he was starting out in showbiz and how he keeps his business going.

THE SPIRIT OF UBUNTU

In the early stages of his music career and the formation of his record label Afrotainment, the man behind Malume and Happy Days names DJ Fresh, Oskido and Black Coffee as people who gave him a helping hand and taught him a thing or two about showbiz. Specifically speaking about internationally renowned DJ Black Coffee, Tira tells Move! “He is one of the guys I look up to. He helped me when I was starting off and he has never changed even at the height of his success. He is always ready to give to a good course and give advice.”

CONSTANTLY IMPROVING

On the show the business man tells viewers that when he travels it’s not only about the parties and having fun. “When I go to places like Ibiza, I go to learn other cultures and how others live their lives and do business. I always bring some of that knowledge home and see I how I can improve my business and my country too,” says Tira.
