Charlize Theron is ready to start dating again: ‘I’m shockingly available’

Cape Town - Charlize Theron is single and very ready to mingle!

During a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight at CinemaCon in Las Vegas, the 43-year-old actress, who was promoting her new movie Long Shot, revealed that finding a date is harder than it seems.

"Somebody just needs to grow a pair and step up. I’m shockingly available," Charlize said.

Her co-star Seth Rogan seemed to agree with her.

"She’s out there!" Seth said.

The Atomic Blonde actress’ last serious relationship was with American actor and filmmaker Sean Penn, whom she began dating in 2013. The pair announced their engagement a year later, but split in 2015, according to People.

Earlier this year there were rumours that the South African-born Oscar-winner was dating hunk Brad Pitt after the pair were spotted together at a photoshoot for watch brand Breitling.

But the rumours were quickly squashed when an insider revealed that the duo were "just friends", Harper’s Bazaar reports.

"They haven’t been out together recently, and were never dating," the source said.

"Reports of them bring involved romantically are false."
