Candy ‘Tsamandebele’ Mokoena says she has found unconditional love in the arms of a Nigerian man and could not be happier. Chukwunonso Dominion Ebene, an artist known as ‘Nonny D’ has stolen the heart of the Limpopo singer. The two decided to take their love to another level by releasing their love single Siku ne Siku.
FALLING IN LOVE
Although the Kalawa Jazmee artist would not divulge much about the relationship, she confirmed that she was very happy. “I’ve fallen, I am in love. I mean, every queen deserves a king,” Candy says with a giggle. The singer reveals that they have known each other for a while now and that it was an absolute joy working together on the single that is already topping charts. “He loves me for who I am, I have diabetes type 2 and he accepts me. He is Nigerian and I love him as he is,” she says.
IS THIS A PUBLICITY STUNT?
Siku ne Siku is about a couple who were once together until the man left for another woman. Years on, he comes back and reassures her that he loves her after the relationship he left her for didn’t work. Candy is in her 40s and Nonny D appears to be her Ben 10 as he looks way younger than her. She says they have known each other for a while but there isn’t a single picture of them looking together on social media. These are some of the reasons why some people are questioning if this love thing between them is really real or it is just another publicity stunt from celebrities just before releasing a single.
LEAVING KALAWA JAZZ
Rumors have been doing the rounds that she is leaving her record label, Kalawa Jazmee. These are claims she has refuted saying she is not going anywhere. “I am with Kalawa, I just renewed my contract and I don’t know where this is coming from. Kalawa understands my sound and allows me to be who I really am as an artist so why would I leave? I am a loyal woman, in love and in business,” she says.
