Wrestling superstar 'Big Show' coming to SA for WWE Live

Cape Town – Event organisers Big Concerts have confirmed to Channel24 that world-famous wrestler, Big Show, real name Paul Wight, will be part of the WWE LIVE tour of SA that will come to SA in April and May.

The events will take place in Cape Town, Durban and Johannesburg. Big Show last appeared in South Africa in 2011, so for many local fans of the actor and athlete, this is a long-awaited return.

The talented entertainer has starred in Hollywood films such as The Waterboy, Jingle All The Way, and more.

The WWE LIVE tour of SA starts on Wednesday, 29 April at Grand Arena Grandwest in Cape Town; Thursday, 30 April at Moses Mabhida Stadium, Durban; and Friday, 1 May and Saturday, 2 May at Ticketpro Dome, Johannesburg.

The entertainment extravaganzas will be the first WWE Live events in Durban since August 2013, and the first in Johannesburg and Cape Town since April 2018.

Tickets are now available via Big Concerts, and it should be noted that the line-up can change dependent on injuries and other circumstances.
