Cape Town - While many of us are still struggling to get over the fire that was #Beychella, Queen B is probably happily strutting to the bank to collect her paper.

According to reports by Money, the singer might have possibly made more than $3m (R35m) for her mind blowing, two-hour performance at the Coachella festival in California on Sunday.

Although the publication reported that the event’s organisers have not confirmed the exact amount, they have hinted at the high fees they pay to get famous headliners such as Beyoncé

It is not the first time that the Hold Up hitmaker has made millions for a performance, Essence reported that in 2016, the singer raked in almost $5.2m (R62.4m) per night during the Formation World Tour.

With Beyoncé being named the highest paid woman in the music industry in last year, it comes as no surprise that other performers at Coachella were not paid as much as the mother of three.

Spin recently reported that during a radio interview with SiriusXM’s Hip Hop Nation, Cardi B revealed that she would be earning $70k (R838k) per weekend at the same festival.

Whatever the amount Bey may have made, the singer continues to give back and has donated  $100k (R1.2m) to four universities: Tuskegee University, Bethune-Cookman University, Xavier University of Louisiana and Wilberforce University – which are all historically black colleges, after her Coachella performance.
