Cape Town – Grammy-winning producer, songwriter and vocalist Mura Masa has unveiled a new track, featuring Clairo, and it has us in our feelings.
The new track is titled I Don't Think I Can Do This Again and it is the musician's first new music since the release of his self-titled debut album in 2017.
The single is featured on Mura Masa's forthcoming second album. South African audiences will know the producer and musician from his Rocking the Daisies' performance in 2018, which was acclaimed.
Clairo is a new, young, fresh voice in the music industry. Her birth name is Claire Cottrill, and she's from Carlisle, Massachusetts. The 21-year-old became an underground favourite with her songs Pretty Girl, which was released in 2017 and has over 35 million views on YouTube.
The song from both musicians blends their two sounds perfectly, creating a song that can be described as both rock and electronic. Its lyrics tell a simple story of being torn about whether or not to go back to an old flame that it wasn't always rosy with.
The video released with the song is a beautifully shot visual representation of the song with lush landscapes and gorgeous faces.
