Cape Town - Matty Healy spoke about masculinity in an interview with GQ.
The frontman of one the biggest bands in the world, The 1975, said that he was picked on as a teenager in Manchester “for having long hair”.
The artistic entertainer also spoke of the influence of his parents, actress Denise Welch and welder-turned-actor Tim Healy, saying that his diverse upbringing gave him a particular worldview.
Late last year The 1975 released a Warren Fun directed video that paid homage to veteran musicians, Talking Heads’ concert film titled Stop Making Sense.
Matty also painted his cover of GQ.
