Cape Town - The two aren’t enemies, but they certainly aren’t friends anymore.

In her recent Vogue cover story, RiRi spoke about being a “thick girl”, her entrance into the dirty thirties and the current state of her friendship with Drake, reports BET.

While their relationship has been over for quite some time they remained friends for a while, but RiRi has now revealed their friendship is over too.

“We don’t have a friendship now, but we’re not enemies either. It is what it is,” the 30-year-old singer admitted to Vogue’s Chioma Nnadi.

Referring to Drake’s speech at the 2016 MTV VMA Awards – where he presented her with the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award – she said, “Waiting through that speech was probably the most uncomfortable part. I don’t like too many compliments; I don’t like to be put on blast.”

In his speech, Drake said: “We love the music, we love the videos, but most of all, we love the woman who hasn’t changed since day one. She’s someone I’ve been in love with since I was 22 years old. She’s one of my best friends in the world. All my adult life I’ve looked up to her even though she’s younger than me. She’s a living, breathing legend in our industry.”

All her fans thought the moment to be a romantic gesture, but RiRi was clearly not impressed by it.
