Queen made Trump take down a campaign featuring 'We Will Rock You'

Cape Town – Another one bites the dust!

Another band has asked American president, Donald Trump, to remove their song from a video on his Twitter page according to Buzzfeed. This follows downloads of Nickelback's hit song Photograph surging up to 569%, according to Nielsen Music, after the controversial politician posted a video using their song which has since been removed.

The video - posted on Wednesday last week - used We Will Rock You, and featured President Trump speaking to supporters at rallies, was, and it used the song in its entirety.

BuzzFeed News then reported, according to a representative, that the song's use was unauthorised. The band had "already entered into a process to call for non-use of Queen song copyrights by the Trump campaign.

This is ongoing," the representative said within hours of the video going up.

By Sunday, the video was no longer available on Twitter, and it had been viewed more than 1.7 million times.
