Cape Town - Miley Cyrus has been reportedly been unsuccessful in her bid to have a $300 million dollar lawsuit against her dismissed.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Miley is being sued for copyright infringement over her song We Can't Stop.
In March 2018 a man named Michael May (also known as Flourgon) sued the singer, claiming the song in question infringes his copyright on a 1988 song called We Run Things.
On the track about exploring sexual and other personal freedom, the pop star and famous actress sings, "And we can't stop / We run things, things don't run we / Don't take nothing from nobody."
